Art’s Services was founded in 2007 by Art Thibodeau. We are a small business dedicated to providing honest, expert heating and cooling services to our customers in the Raleigh-Durham area. We are NATE-certified, and a member of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA).

A Word from President and Owner, Art Thibodeau

“I’ve been working in heating and air conditioning for 20 years. First I attended Horry Georgetown Technical College in South Carolina, completing their full 2 year program with a 3.8 GPA.  Then For the next 17 years, I worked for other companies where they trained their employees to sell, sell, sell. This wasn’t exactly the way I saw the business – I just wanted to fix the units when that’s all they needed. So I left heating and air to work in the engineering department of a 5-star hotel. Over the next six months, my old customers began calling me saying, ‘please come back, I’ve had these other companies out and it’s still not working right.’ So I decided to start my own repair and service company.

Before starting my business, I thought about what I would want as a customer, someone to look after my equipment and tell me what they needed to keep them up and running. Good honest service. 

Art’s Services opened on July 1, 2007. Unlike the big companies I worked for at the beginning of my career where the focus is on getting commissions (big ones, I might add), I will simply fix your unit (if can be fixed). I will give you my honest advice and product recommendations only when you need them. You can count on the integrity of Art’s Services.”
